Our premium kiln dried logs are dried to under 15% moisture content and conform to the ‘ready to burn’ standard. Our logs are always sourced from sustainable forestry and are ready to burn straight out of the box!
Our kiln dried logs are always dried to under 15% moisture content and come with the ‘ready to burn’ standard. The length of each log is around 25cm and is therefore perfect for home or business use. The 25cm length should fit over 99% of UK stoves and is the most common length for logs.
We only source the best quality logs that have been carefully kiln dried to increase their calorific value and burning longevity. The kiln dried logs we sell all come from sustainable forestry and are therefore environmentally friendly. Our logs are carefully selected from managed forestry in the UK and Europe and only the best quality logs are chosen by us to sell.
We only deal in premium kiln dried logs and therefore there is no need for you to dry or season them once you have them delivered. They are ready to burn straight from the box to provide a cozy fire in the evening or throughout the day.
You can contact us at any time to find out more about the logs that we sell. We currently offer ash, beech, oak, and silver birch, which are four of the most popular wood types for burning in the UK. We have many five-star reviews and are always happy to help with any query should you need us.
How long do your kiln dried logs burn for?
Due to the extremely low moisture content on our logs, you can expect our logs to burn for between 80 and 120 minutes. However, this also depends on the type of wood you are buying. For example, our oak logs will last longer than our silver birch due to the higher density of the wood.
How should I store kiln dried logs?
You should always store kiln dried logs somewhere dry and sheltered. If you are storing them inside, you should ensure that there is no damp. You can store our kiln dried logs in a shed, garage or even an old wendy house! However, a dedicated log store is always a safe bet. If you are buying our kiln dried log boxes, then they are easy to stack and move around. The cardboard also offers some protection from moisture and will help keep the moisture content low. Most importantly, you should always store kiln dried logs raised up off the ground. This helps stop damp from creeping into the logs and also helps avoid insects in taking up residence!
When will I receive my logs?
You can expect delivery of our kiln dried logs within 3-5 working days. We operate both a pallet delivery and a courier delivery service. Some items may be so large that they will be sent on a 3–5-day pallet service instead of a courier delivery service.
